Cross Stitching News 2011

• December 27: Finally a few updates on several projects I've been stitching on: Deco Spirits, Log Cabin Quilt, and Arabian Woman
• December 4: With a little stitching here and a little stitching there, I finally finished L is for Leaves.
• October 31: While on a quilting / stitching retreat, I pulled out and worked a little more on Deco Spirits, not quite finishing the second motif. I've also finished the first 2 triangles on Diamond Delight VI.
• October 17: Finished Diamond Delight VI's right filling stitch, now on to all the triangles.
• October 10: I'm working on some season-appropriate designs: Autumn (Pear Tree) Fairy, Spooky House, and L is for Leaves
• September 25: I have essentially finished page 2 of In The Garden and have put some more stitches in Chatelaine's Chinese Dragon Gate, because I finally got my silks and beads kit from European XS!
• August 28: Diamond Delight VI's bottom diamond area is finished.
• August 26: Started and finished What a Hoot aka "Owly Potter". Been stitching on Chatelaines otherwise, but haven't taken any progress photos because there hasn't been much progress...
• August 7: Finished my Grapes Pillow into an actual pillow (just 2 short years after finishing the stitching, ha!)
• August 6: Because I have serial starter's disease, I have begun stitching Chatelaine's Chinese Dragon Gate, even though I only have the DMC floss at this point.
• July 31: working on part 2 of Desert Landscapes Mandala, and a new progress pic of Log Cabin Quilt.
• July 21: Diamond Delight VI's left diamond area is finished.
• July 17: Diamond Delight VI's top diamond area is finished. The other 3 specialty diamonds are also stitched, but I have yet to put in the filling stitches for those.
• July 7: Desert Landscapes Mandala - part 1 is finished!
• June 13: Have some more progress updates on Desert Landscapes Mandala, Spring (Appleblossom) Fairy, Autumn (Pear Tree) Fairy, and started two new projects, Diamond Delight VI (a needlepoint design) and Mill Hill's Log Cabin Quilt
• May 29: Finished Moonlit Kitties!
• May 28: I've concentrated on stitching this month Desert Landscapes Mandala, Spring (Appleblossom) Fairy, and Moonlit Kitties.
• May 1: I started Chatelaine's Autumn (Pear Tree) Fairy and finished the DMC portions of it. I also finished the border of Spring (Appleblossom) Fairy and put a little more work into Desert Landscapes Mandala.
• April 30: New progress pic of Moonlit Kitties and my first progress pics of Desert Landscapes Mandala and Spring (Appleblossom) Fairy.
• April 25: Off and on this month I've been working on Aurora, and have a little more progress to show for it.
• April 24: I started a new little kit this week - Mill Hill's Moonlit Kitties.
• April 14: Arabian Woman has seen some more of my needles and floss. I figure I'm between 75-80% complete.
• April 7: I've been working on In the Garden a little bit since I finished the last Chatelaine square, about half of page 2 complete.
• April 1: Chatelaine's Waterlily Pond Quilt Square #16 of 16 finished! Of course, I still need to make it into my quilted wallhanging...
• March 25: Chatelaine's Waterlily Pond Quilt Square #15 of 16 finished!
• March 18: Chatelaine's Waterlily Pond Quilt Square #14 of 16 finished!
• March 13: Chatelaine's Waterlily Pond Quilt Square #13 of 16 finished!
• March 3: A little bit of progress on the next panel of Deco Spirits.
• February 18: I've finished the Earth panel for Mirabilia's Deco Spirits, and started the panel below it.
• January 21: Mirabilia's Deco Spirits is now in my WIP list instead of my to-do one. :)
• January 17: I started a new project, Mirabilia's Deco Spirits, for which I do not yet have a progress page (soon, I promise!). But I've also recently been working on Kitty Litter and Magical Night.
• January 4: My first finish of the year is Stilts (My Security Blanket). I decided to pull out this project again, and once I started stitching, I just kept on. I could see that I was close to finishing, so I worked on this every day until finishing it late last night.
