Flower Garden quilt.
- October 29: Allison's Jewel Box quilt is finished!
- September 25: I've found the quilt that I want to create for one
of my younger nieces. It was in the January 2003 issue of The Quilter Magazine,
and I created a test block this past weekend. It's called "Snow
Puzzle" (see the far right photo, second row) and it was created
by Shelley Swanland.
She has a really innovative way of machine piecing Cathedral Windows, which
was featured on Simply Quilts, episode 623.
- September 22: Allison's
Jewel Box quilt was dropped off at the quilter's this afternoon, so it should be done in time for Christmas (yay me!). I've also added some more progress pictures to the Double wedding ring quilt page.
- September 3: I've been working all weekend on Allison's
Jewel Box quilt top, and it is finished! Now to piece the backing and take
it to the quilter... :)

full-size quilt both have a little more progress.

attaching the binding and some buttons in the middle of each flower. This
weekend, I also worked on the Double Wedding Ring quilt, Allison's big quilt,
and CC's blankie #2.
- April 7: The Rail Fence quilt (for me!) is done - binding all attached,
and we've already used it as an extra blanket on our bed.
- April 3: THREE quilts started this weekend!!! Okay, the Flannel
4-patch is only just pieces cut so far, but I count that as started. Others officially
begun include a double wedding ring quilt and Allison's
'big' quilt.
- March 23: My rail fence quilt is nearly
finished now that Linda Gray has machine quilted it (gorgeously, I must
add) - I just need to attach the binding. Also, I have dropped off Teresa's
Traditional Flower Baskets at the quilt shop for machine quilting, so
I'm ahead of schedule for this year!
