Rick's Icy Trip Around the World

Of course, when I showed CC's brother, Rick, the quilt I had made for CC (and some others, I believe), he HAD to have one (actually, he thinks he needs more, but I've got so many things to do for everyone...), so he commissioned me to make this quilt for him (he gave me the basic colors he wanted, and I took it from there). He told me he wanted a quilt with maroons, blacks, greys, and blues, and I decided to go with a trip around the world - sunshine and shadow look, fading each color to white. This is the largest quilt I have made to date, to fit a queen size bed.

I seem to like making quilts in this pattern...
