Twist n Spin placemats

My first Twist n Spin placemat, finished 2/20/2012 - 3 more to go in this colorway, then I want to make some Christmas ones like I saw at Nashua Sew and Vac. They use the Lil Twister template, which was recently demonstrated at my quilt guild's monthly meeting.

I decided to try these without binding, instead sewing the back and front right sides together with the batting and with a hole in the end, then turning inside out. I'm not as happy with the end result because the edges are a little wavy, due to quilting after sewing the edges down and closed (not as visible due to being pinned to the wall). I will make the others with binding so I don't get the wavy edges.
