Turquoise and Green quilt - Quilter's Palette Class
Original set of fabrics

Chosen fabrics (focus fabric is on the far right)

I found a packet of fabrics at a quilt show and decided they would make a great quilt. I finally figured out what to do with these fabrics - I'm taking a class called The Quilter's Palette, offered by Annie Smith.

Quilt layout (sans sashing strips, cornerstones)

August 3, 2009: Finished quilt top (with sashing, cornerstones) - I think it's amazing how the sashing affects the overall color and look of the quilt. Now to bind and quilt it - I'm planning to do the quilting myself by machine.
