Flannel Four-Patch Quilt aka CC's Blankie #2

May 31, 2007: It's done, done, done!!! The binding is finally attached, and I've signed it for C.

May 27, 2007: Quilting is finished, now on to the binding! The fabric I chose for the binding has green, purple, and brown colors in an odd pattern that almost seems like wings from butterflies. The colors really match nicely the colors in the quilt. I've sewn the binding to the front of the quilt, and now I'm attaching it to the back by hand.

August 5, 2006: Strips! It's finally taking on some semblance of a quilt top. I have 19 strips of 18 alternating blocks each.

June 24, 2006: more piles of pieces. I haven't worked on this quilt in a while, but I sewed a few pieces together today.

April 25, 2006: quilted pillow finished - front and back. I didn't plan the back, except to have the leopards facing the same direction on both sides. The design doesn't work out perfectly, but nearly! How's that for serendipity? I also learned to use velcro for the closure instead of snaps - velcro holds together MUCH better. :)
