Amy Beth's Drunkard's Path Quilt
Ta-da!!! Here she is with her new quilt
(it was a very windy day).
We met for lunch, and afterwards she got to take it home.

Here's the pillow I made to go along with
the quilt

And here is the pillow and quilt on the
bed in her guest room.
She tells me that her kitty Thompson loves it. ![]()

It's finished!!! November 2, I put the
finishing stitches into the binding!

Signed...

Rudy helping again - this time with the
binding. She's going to be sorry when the quilt is presented to Amy Beth.
Funny thing is, she won't lay on either of the 2 smaller "quilts"
I have made for the kitties...

October 27, 2003 - ALL of the blocks are quilted now, and I have started working on the binding! As soon as I have finished the binding, I'll put up a new photo!
While I was trying to quilt, Rudy wanted
to help.
Or perhaps she decided it would make a great cave!

January 2, 2003, the quilting is in progress!

Above you can see the quilting has begun (the long white stitches are the basting stitches). Below, I have drawn in the pattern, in case you can't tell it in the photo above. I am quilting with natural (like off-white) colored thread in the beige/tan areas of the quilt and with burgundy colored thread in the burgundy areas of the quilt.

Below is the back of the quilt - quilting detail. The color is a little off (it has a blue cast in the photo), but you can begin to see the quilting taking shape.

December 24, 2002, the quilt top is all pieced!

And here is the backing and binding fabrics I thought would look perfect with this quilt. The backing is not flannel, but it is really soft, and I thought it would be perfect for this quilt.
