Spice's Injuries (my Sunfire wreck)

This is Spice before - actually, this is her around 1998.
I got her in August of 1997, one of the first of the 98 model year cars to come in to the dealer's lot.
She recently turned 7, and has been a wonderful car.

Here is poor Spice after the wreck on August 24, 2004.

We think that the tire / wheel / front fender took the brunt of the wreck.

Really, I think I was lucky for her to have been hit here.
It didn't seem to damage the rest of the car much.
If the other driver had hit me a little further back, I think I would have been
much more seriously injured, as would the car.

The front of the door was a little bunged up, but not really bad.

We couldn't tell if the tire itself was cut, but it appears to still be inflated.

You can't see it really well from this picture, but the vent in the middle
of the top of the dash did pop up a bit on the right side. I'm hoping it's cosmetic
and not indicative of a more serious frame problem.

Update October 19: She's fixed!!!

And she's so pretty again!

Freshly washed, going to the detailers...

And she passed inspection!
