Our House - Guest Bath

Before we bought it, it had a stuck-up ugly paisly border and a pink shower curtainl liner, ugh. I bought a khaki-colored cotton tab-top shower curtain and a clear liner.

Before

At first I replaced the old toilet seat with an oak toilet seat, but I have since replaced it with a painted wooden one (no brass fixtures to turn green).

I purchased some robe hooks - bone colored to match, and installed them on the wall facing the toilet.

The color scheme has changed slightly - at first I had mint green rugs and towels, since that's what I had on hand, and I hadn't made up my mind about the color scheme for this bath, but then I decided on a softer, more muted green, and found a sage green toilet seat cover and rugs and the khaki tab-top cotton shower curtain. Various sage/mint green dispensers for soap, lotion, and toothbrushes adorn the sink. A pretty cross-stitch cottage (done by yours truly) hangs above the side of the sink, and now there is a mirrored cabinet above the toilet..

The floor in this room will eventually be replaced with ceramic tile, like that in the kitchen.
