Dining Room
These photos show how my dining room looked when we first moved in. It's still generally the same, but I've put a few more things on the walls and moved some other furniture in, so it doesn't seem anywhere near as big as it used to.

A little hard to see from the picture, but this is the dining room (looking at it from the living room). The mini-blinds were broken and cruddy, so I replaced them with verticals.

Here you can see the dining room a little better. All of our work supplies and tools are in this room for the time being (until we get everything done and moved in). The vertical blinds make a big difference, too. I haven't decided whether I'm going to put up any sort of valance or swags or curtains. I'm also eventually going to re-paper or paint this room, and put a ceiling fan (with light) where the light currently is.
I finally got all that STUFF moved out of the dining room, and check out the picture below (a composite) - a REAL dining room!!! We can actually eat (and have done so) supper at the table. Of course, that's when the chairs aren't the kittens playground. :)

And even though the wallpaper is still not my favorite, and will eventually be replaced, it is at least serviceable for now (and doesn't look anywhere near as bad as it did before).
