Victoria's Baby Afghan

When I saw this fingering yarn, I thought it looked yummy enough to eat. The bubble-gum colors were so fun! So when we found out that I was going to have another niece or nephew, I decided to make the baby afghan with this yarn. I really liked the pattern, because it looked like individual squares, but that was just done with the pattern.

This pattern (Lacy Blocks) is actually from the same book as Sallie's mile-a-minute afghan, Leisure Arts Presents Quick and Cozy Afghans. If you go to Amazon's site, you can see a photo of it in a different color (ecru). Click on the "Look inside" link, and then click "Next page" a couple of times. The pattern gets a little lost with the colors I used, but it's really a sweet afghan!
