Mile-a-Minute Vacation

Started May 26, 2005. It's all Melissa's fault. :) Yep, just because she mentioned Caron's Simply Soft yarn, I decided I needed to go buy some more and start a new afghan. It's from this book, American School of Needlework's Ultimate Book of Scrap Afghans. Of course, mine won't look exactly like the model, but I've picked out some nice colors, and the yarn is just so soft and yummy to work with.

October 7, 2005: All panels in groups of two, slowly being joined together

September 11, 2005: All panels through round 4 (no photo)
August 16, 2005: Tenth panel through round 4

August 8, 2005: Panels in round 3, and I've decided to add one more to make it just a little wider

July 20, 2005: the next step, involving front post and back post double crochet
makes the off-white yarn look woven in and out.

July 17, 2005: sage, bone, peach, grape, papaya inner panels with round 1 finished;
soft yellow, peacock, light country blue, mint inner panels waiting for round 1
