Victorian Rose Doily

I started this doily in 1998 or 1999, and only just finished it in 2004 (August 29). I found the free pattern online (Victorian Rose Doily by Jennie Gaskin), and thought it was so beautiful, I had to do it. I changed the leaves to a taupe color instead of the green called for, because I thought it looked even more antique this way, and more like the model photo.
