(March) Circle-in-the-Square doily

From the Leisure Arts leaflet, A Year of Doilies.

This was the second doily I made. The pattern t originally called for ecru and green, but since I'd already done that, I thought the blue would be nice - DMC's Cebelia crochet cotton, which has a nice sheen, and the ecru has a matte finish. Quite complementary fibers, actually. Finished in February 1999.
