Knitting projects - Spring Green afghan

I've admired this knitted afghan since before I knew how to knit. It is from the book, 7-Day Afghans by Jean Leinhauser & Rita Weiss. I finally screwed up my courage to attempt the pattern, and I've found it isn't as difficult as I had imagined it would be.
