2007

December: A scarf created for a dirty santa exchange.
June: I finished the second doily gift for a friend, Sweet Dreams in Maroon.
April 29: A new knit hat for me in progress
January: I finished another doily, Snow Flurry, which will be a gift for a friend.

July 26: I finished a doily, 'November,' for a friend's mother
July 10: Not a lot of knitting going on right now. I made another fuzzy scarf for another friend (no picture, sorry!) - creamy colors this time. I'm also working on a green fuzzy scarf (maybe for me). I finished the knitted hat and a fuzzy scarf for me January 30 and the Spring Green afghan at the end of March 2006.
June 24: I started and finished a copy of a doily I did a couple of years ago, Serendipity
June 11: I've started and finished another doily, Recipe for Repose
March 17: I'm still working on the 63 Squares afghan, and I've started a new afghan, Pressed Flowers
January 23: I've begun working on a couple of projects: a knitted hat for myself and a small baby afghan called Spring Green.

December 25: The kitty bed is finished!
December 22: Another fuzzy scarf for a friend.
October 30: The Mile-a-Minute Vacation afghan is finished!
October 9: I've finished a doily, February in Peach, and I have another update on the Mile-a-Minute Vacation, which will probably be finished before the 63 squares afghan now.
July 17: Still working on both afghans, and I'm getting really close to finishing up the 63 squares one!
May 27: Yesterday I started another new afghan - Mile-a-Minute Vacation. I'm also slowly working my way on the Knitted Kitty Bed, which I truly hope to have finished this year!
- Update May 27: I'm still working on the afghan I started way back on March 31, 2004 (I joined a crochet-along!). Below is the first square, and I've recently finished square #53 - over 3/4 of the way there! Click on the photo to learn more about this project and the crochet along.

December 18: Chris's scarf is done! Up next, a kitty bed! :)
December 12: Fuzzy Scarves #1, 2, and 3 are finished, and now I've begun working on one for my nephew Christopher.
December 4: Fuzzy Scarf #1 is finished, on to Fuzzy Scarves #2 and 3
November 28: I finished the Knitted Dishcloth #2, and started a Fuzzy Scarf #1
November 27: Finally a photo of my finished Sweet Dreams Doily:
Mid-November: Okay, okay, so I've finally succumbed to that thing they call knitting. I've only been trying to learn (off and on) for the last twelve years or so. A friend and her mother tried to teach me way back when, and I was doing so-so until they moved and I got completely frustrated and discombobulated with the whole concept. Every so often since then, I would pick up a pair of needles and make another futile attempt.
August 29: I finally finished my Victorian Rose doily! I also finished the doily I started the day before - August doily!
March 20: I finished a baby afghan for my new nephew!

September 27: I took a knitting class from my LNS Saturday and learned how to cast on, knit (but not purl), and bind off. I immediately went home and began a small project (instead of the scarf from the class) to practice on - a knitted dishcloth.
