Online Quilting Class update

Maple leaf block, finished

Honeybee block, prepared for appliqué, not finished

Crossed roses block, part 1, nearly prepared for appliqué

I've also got my Dresden plate prepared for appliqué. We are learning 3 different methods for machine appliqué in this class, one technique per block. This week we'll get to finish the appliqué blocks and then next week we tackle paper piecing!

In cross stitching, I set aside the grapes for a few days and tackled another "older" project - The Sun Sets. No photo yet, but I'm making some decent progress. It was a really good project to work on during the Moonlight Stitching at my LNS. The other thing I worked on was their make-it-and-take-it, a needle swatch adapted from a pattern by Nordic Needle. It's finished!

Comments:
Love your HoneyBee block! Very pretty! Can't wait to see the quilt when it's finished.

Loving all those quilt blocks! I'll look forward to seeing them finished. I keep hoping Moonlight Stitching will fall at a time when I can go. Maybe next time?

I really love when the LNS has those stitch ins, its a great way to get a lot of stitching done in an uninterupted time period.

LOVE those quilt blocks too. They are looking SO good! Can't wait to see the paper piecing class. That's something I've always wanted to do.
